Its been on the news lately that a leader of this JI (Jemaah Islamiya) has escaped from its detention cell earlier this week. Singapore is known to have a very tight security enforced islandwide, I bet this scumbag will not go any further. Singapore is a small place and its residents are well-informed and proactive. But nevertheless, I still feel a little bit agitated by this news. Since this is such a small country, who knows, I could be eating with him in one of the hawker centres here. Hahaha ... nah ... his face is everywhere, sooner or later he will fall.
Just in case you haven't been here, and you're wondering what is a hawker centre, its just a foodcourt packed with different food stalls serving different kinds of food ... from the very well known "Chicken Rice", Hokkien, Mee Goreng, Roti Prata ... down to western delights such as french fries, burgers and fried chicken wings. And the good part is its very affordable. You can buy as little as SGD $1.50, (US $1.07), very cheap, right?! And the servings are good for two people, if you are light eater but nevertheless you will be stuffed.
I just hoped I have pictures right here. Ok, I promise I will start uploading images here.
